Group Therapy Sessions

You can exclusively use our group therapy services to access support, or you can use them to supplement your individual therapy sessions as needed. Group therapy is also a great option if individual therapy is out of your budget.

Everyone deserves access to the care they need, regardless of their financial situation. Time For Mama provides several group therapy options to fit your needs and preferences:

Process Groups are confidential and supportive. Share what you’ve been feeling, your struggles, and your successes. Learn something new, and get feedback from other mothers in similar situations.

Psychoeducational Groups are once a week and run for 6-12 weeks at a time. Learn how to manage your emotions, cope with stressors, manage depression & anxiety, and develop anger management skills.

Art for Coping Groups draws on the proven benefits of art to help improve mental health. Art can be a form of self-expression and it can be used to communicate thoughts and feelings that may be difficult to put into words. It can also be a way to explore emotions and deal with stress or anxiety. In addition, art can help promote relaxation and mindfulness, which can lead to a more positive mood.

Life Skills such as time management, financial management, and more!

Groups will start when we reach 12 people per group. First, indicate the group/s you’re interested in and if you prefer mornings, afternoons, or evenings. You’ll be informed when a group has reached the required member count and is ready to start.

You have a right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
